These simple, fried biscuit donuts are a versatile way to use Pillsbury™ biscuit dough for breakfast or brunch and to bring in seasonal colors!

  1. Thaw biscuit dough covered, either at room temp. 45-60 minutes until fully thawed or refrigerate overnight.
  2. Poke hole in center of each biscuit with finger and stretch dough to create a 1-inch hole.
Assembly
  1. Drop dough, in batches, in fryer oil preheated to 350°F; cook approx. 2 minutes per side until cooked through.
  2. Remove from oil, drain, then dip one side into heated icing.
  3. Quickly turn right side up and immediately top with 1/2 tsp sprinkles.
  4. Place on parchment-lined sheet pan and allow icing to set before serving.

  • Use seasonal colors of sprinkles if desired. For a churro-inspired flavor, toss donuts in cinnamon sugar and serve with a small portion of warmed chocolate fudge icing. Note nutritional values will change.
